The message I got regarding how I would be notified is “Good morning Daniel. The HW3 autopilot computer for your Tesla is not yet available. You will receive an alert in your MyTesla app once it arrives that will prompt you to schedule a service appointment for its installation. As a heads up...
Just as an update for me. I have a ~1 year old model 3. Have an upcoming service appointment to fix some trim issues. Was notified not available yet to update the computer and that as expected it will not be able to be performed by a mobile tech.
Me? Nope. Only ever been attached to my phone. Nobody else other than Tesla has driven my car and as mentioned I’ve even changed password multiple times to make sure that any other app that may have been connected no longer could be. Only have used the single iPhone to connect. Have deleted...
App completely deleted. Prior timesthat I deleted it I changed my password as well. Hoping tomorrow is sunnier to see how it does with no app and sunnier weather.
Who knows? It’s overcast today and cold. Drove car for lunch. Still had app off the phone. Interior was cool. Came back to the office. About half an hour ago reinstalled the app and connected to car. Temp was between the set point and ambient. Since app installed the temp is up more than 5...
iPhone. Only thing connected is the official Tesla app. As I mentioned previously in the thread Tesla had confirmed to me that the app was triggering the heat even though I wasn’t turning on The climate control myself from the app...
Disabled the app last night. So far today the car doesn’t seem to have heated up. Will check again when I go home. I can verify that the car temperature before has matched on the app to a thermometer within a handful of degrees f (and internal temp was confirmed at the service center when I had...
For my part, note that I have mentioned previously (and quoted support on that) that Tesla has stated that the app is sending a trigger to my car. But I guess I should just assume that they are lying that the app is triggering? ♂️
Yes. It’s interesting. Tesla is saying that my heat is being triggered by the app but if you go into the app climate control is off... I’ll try to figure out the scraper later to see if I can identify what behavior is actually happening. It seems that there is some sort of a bug. I mean I...
It’s 42 out and my car is nearly 100. Since
to quote Tesla support “I reviewed the diagnosis performed by both the Service Center as well as our Advanced Vehicle Support team. Both parties determined that the commands were indeed coming from the mobile app.”
It is 42 outside right now and my...
Cold winter days I wouldn’t think 50s abnormal either in the direct sun. The fact that mine reaches 100+ in not direct sun I’m freezing weather on the other hand. Tesla claims that my app is triggering the heat to come on (even though app shows Hvac as off). This clearly is a flaw in the...
As I mentioned earlier. Tesla has confirmed that the heat appears to being triggered on by the app. My car heats up much too quickly in much too cold an ambient temperature for it to simply be ambient. What they don’t seem to be able to explain is the why the app appears to be triggering the...
My car is going above 39c in sub 0c weather. Tesla has stated that the app has been triggering the heat but they can’t figure out why (and the app doesn’t actually show Hvac on).
Best.
I’ve had this problem in the states for a while now. Tesla service center confirmed that the temp was rising well past 100 degrees f. Even in ~30 degrees f weather. Tesla claims the app is turning heat on yet the app shows Hvac as off. Doesn’t happen every day and doesn’t seem to happen when my...
Tesla claims that heat is turned on by the app (yet the app shows climate control is off....). The car will be in the garage at work, in the parking lot with limited sun... The set point is in the mid 60s when it is on. It only seems to happen at work, however. but doesn't happen every day...
I have a Model 3 LR AWD. The car appears to heat up on some days when parked at work. When I say, heating up, it is sometimes as high as 103F when ambient temperature is sub-freezing. The service center found nothing wrong (but did confirm that the temperature was high). Tesla claims the...
Mine gets extremely hot when parked some days. App reads as in the mid 90s to low 100s even in sub freezing ambient temperature. Service center says that the app is triggering the heat, yet the app doesn't show HVAC on. Requires AC when I get in the car. Both the service center and I have...
