    Model 3 - Afleveringen

So the manipulative bankers set up Tesla for the big miss. Missing so big says more about the analyst than the company. Except for the ~120 mln in restructuring cost, everything else should've been expected for someone who's full time job is to follow the company and make projections. Common...

I have a strong feeling Model Y will start production Q1 2020. They deliberatly said late 2020 to not cannibalize Model 3 sales now. I recall Elon saying in 2017/2018 ER calls that Model Y production will start in 2019 aspirationaly, but more likely 2020.

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

I really don't see how this could have significant effect on SP. Looks like 100.000 call contracts will end in the money, at ~$10 on average, that's only worth $100 mln. Daily average dollar volume in the stock is 11 mln shares x $250 = $2.75 bln. So only 5% of the daily $ volume in the stock...

today's rise could be related to european car sales crash of 7,8% in June 2019 that was reported yesterday. My guess is that a lot of European Investors are switching (paritally) to Tesla stock as a hedge on ICE stocks.

it will be funny if Elon increases FY guidance. Given the recent leaks on production increase, and price drop, there is a non-zero probability that this would happen.

Toilet boy is having a hard time shorting Tesla. Underperforming S&P500 by ~19% this month:eek::eek::confused: If you'd build your portfolio based on a gorilla throwing bananas at random stocks, you'd perform much better, every year, since 2011 when he started his fund. " We remain short...

Daimler's stock is at 6Y low, while BMW's is slightly (3-4%) above the 6Y low. What happens when Tesla builds the European Giga? These companies will be forced to start producing EV's at a massive losses with no battery Gigafactory, writing down massive losses on ICE factories and...

It's been 2 weeks since the last price cut by the master manipulators at the major investment banks. Even though I expect some pushback from them in the next few days, I think the worst is behind us, and they possible can't cut the prices lower than this. Average price target (excl. DB) is...

So what exactly did Jerome's email imply. Is it just higher production rate? what's so secret about that that he wouldn't be able to say in the email and that employees would be so excited? We know it's not: S/X refresh. Not going to happen. Model Y/Semi/Pickup). Way too soon for that. S/X...

Demand for €50k EV's such as the SR+ is gonna go through the roof in Q3/Q4 in the Netherlands. Government is planning to wind down EV tax incentive per 1 jan 2020. New short interest position data is released. Greedy shorts hardly covered anything after mutli billion losses in the last few weeks. Looks like they are going all-in into ER. So... 1000 model 3's / day + 200 S/X a day = 1200 /day run rate. 1200 * 7 * 52 = 437K or 430k counting for holidays. add 3k/week from Shanghai Giga, and we're already looking at +580k run rate by end of the year. If they can increase Fremont production rate by another 10-20% in the next 6...

I've been thinking on Elon's comment of not selling any cars. This just shocked me. He knew MSM is shortsighted and not ready for this kind of vision talk, he backtracked his comment saying only selling cars at higher prices. But it makes perfect sense if you think about it. If FSD becomes...

I don't think put/call parity is useful indicator if it's only based on volume (as in barchart.com) and not value-weighted. As you can see below, someone purchased 60k July'19 put options on the $50 strike. These are very cheap and sold for 1-2 cent per contract. Someone buying only 100 ATM...

If they can pull forward sales, they can pull forward costs. I think Tesla pulled-forward Q2 costs in Q1 so they may have a decent chance to end in green in Q2. I strongly believe Elon pushed for a bad quarter in Q1 in order to have positive/profitable quarters going forward. Q1 was a lost...

Today the Dutch government presented the climate action plan. overall good for EV's but hardly an ambitious EV push. - no more ICE sales from 2030 - (tax) subsidy of ~3000 euro per EV from next year - CO2 neutral by 2050. - Electricity prices going down, gas prices going up. - Diesel prices...

t Even if you're production constrained you'd like as many buyers as you can to better streamline production. e.g. if you can build 1000 cars a day, and currently 900 is LR and 100 SR+ you'd like to sell 100 additional LR so you'd build 1000 in batches and sell quickly. I find it really...

There is. Capital should be allocated to most efficient use. If company X is wasting it, there must be a way to penalize. I am not against short selling, but when it comes to Tesla it's a whole new level. Media lying daily to save their ads business. It's a crime really.
