accessory power

I am aware of but from other videos I understand this pin only has 12v applied to it when Sentry mode is on, or when the car is "awake" (not sure if this means after detecting an authorized unlock device, or once a door handle has been opened). Unfortunately I won't the opportunity to test this...

Anyone know the specs on the 12V power port in the M3 center console. Is it 12 Amps, 15 Amps max? Also, assuming it switches off when the vehicle is off, yes? Is there another 12V power source anywhere else in the M3?
