Hi,
is there a any accurate way to measure the current capacity of a Tesla model 3. I read about charging to 100%, discharging it and do the math, but is there not a more accurate way to do this?
If its not possibly on my own, is it possible to do a measurement in a workshop?
Few weeks ago there was a link on Tesla Service to procedure, software and cable on how to read Model 3 (guess also Y) HV battery status directly from battery itself via low voltage communication port (one under read seat).
Status was intended for 3rd parties who handled HV to know what they...
Thanks in advance for any help or insight. Our car can't handle heat - we get the message below:
Nearly 3hours after being parked it's blowing hotter air than outside air!!
We have a 2017 75D 6 passenger Model X that struggles with A/C when it's hot out. Fortunately we live in Vancouver where...
I've been scanning Google generally and TMC in particular to see whether or not I'm the only one encountering this issue.
I had my MCU (AP 2.0) upgraded when I brought my MX in for the FSD computer upgrade in the middle of June.
Everything went fine, my settings were even largely preserved...

Hi all,
As I'm working in the Automotive domain investigating partial thefts of components my interest in Tesla diagnostics has grown.
From reading through the forum and exploring the internet, I've found that Tesla Toolbox is only provided to certified Tesla Service/Body Workshop centers...
My MX failed FW upgrade from 42.2 to 46.x last week, and by failed FW upgrade I mean the car didn't power up. The only things that worked were the doors and windows, nothing else.
Once it was towed, I get a call from the SC who said I need to pay for the diagnostics (175$/hr) since the...
So...I'm awaiting my Model 3. One of my Christmas presents I got was the BlueDriver Bluetooth OBD-II scanner, primarily for my '04 Chevy Avalanche, which has a tendency to trigger random check engine lights. My friend claims that when he plugged an OBD-II scanner into a co-worker's Fiat 500e...
After commenting just 20 min ago how much I enjoy the Model S, I came home this evening, plugged in Model S and then:
1) Model S locked the charging cable to the car and wouldn't release and wasn't charging
2) Somehow, I got it to release the charging cable (via Open Charge Port, pushing the...
