2 model 3 on one app

Now that we’re a 2 Tesla family, how do we get both cars in each of our phones?
When I tried to add the second sign in my phone said it will delete all previous data

Actually it says “ you will lose all your settings and data” when I go to log out

I’m assuming that you have create a Tesla account for each car, rather than adding the second car to your original account. Let’s call them Cars A & B and Accounts A & B. To have the app of Account A be able to see the car from Account B, you will first log into the web based Tesla Account B and add Account A as an additional user and select Car B for them. Car B will then appear in the app of account A. You can do the same procedure for the app of Account B.

Basically, just add an additional user to a Tesla account and enable the car you want them to see.

I have had 2 cars set up in the same account for a while now. It seems to work with no issues. And, both of my kids have installed Tesla App on their phones. By logging into the same account, they both can see both the cars just like I do from my phone.

Sounds like you've two Tesla accounts with one car in each. You need to ask Tesla for VIN Sharing between the 2 accounts ; see here:
