Lost trust on Tesla

Why?

Something failed (as happens with just about every product on earth from time to time), they are going to fix it within a week, they are offering you a loaner.

Where is the failure in trust?

Not really. I had some problems with new luxury imports. Had to go to dealerships for these services. Luxury brands including Tesla are not as reliable as Toyota or Lexus. However they did promise their services to keep them serviced. It’s different perspective. Tesla said they will do their job. If the same problem persists, it’s obviously a lemon. They know that.

I also had a bad drive unit on my previous tesla (2018 M3 midrange) and they fixed it like new. At the time I had reservations but the car ran like new. It only takes them a few hours of labor to install it once they get the drive unit in. Good luck.
