20” Helix Wheel Range

I’m looking at used inventory MXs on the Tesla CPO site and have seen a couple of older Xs with the 20” Helix wheels. I’ve searched but never seen the range issue addressed in relation to this wheel type vs the standard Slipstream wheel. Anybody know if the Helix wheel helps or hurts range? The 22” Helix obviously hurts range, due to size and profile, but I’m curious about the 20” only. Thanks in advance.

If the same tires, with the same width are used, 20 or 21 or 22 inch rims don‘t matter. The rolling circumference stays the same and so does the width. Therefore there can only be a negligible difference in the size of the contact patch.

It‘s the sticky rubber of sport tires and often their extra width (=larger contact patch) that make a noticeable difference in range.
