Are these better (light up the road better) than 2016 headlights? Are they compatible with 2016? Do the sides light up when turning at slow speeds?

I don't know if they are better than 2016 lights since I've only had 2023 Model X. The sides do light up when turning at slow speeds. They also turn on when you turn on your turn signals for switching lanes.
