2017 Model X gateway unlock procedure

The process “hold fully up on turn signal stalk + brake + key for 10 second” doesn’t unlock the gateway. I’ve got the key in the vehicle & placed on the center console below the cup holder.

What am I doing wrong?

The process “hold fully up on turn signal stalk + brake + key for 10 second” doesn’t unlock the gateway. I’ve got the key in the vehicle & placed on the center console below the cup holder.

What am I doing wrong?

The charger cable can’t be plugged in. JFC. Wished the display said something about that!
