Looking for someone to assume our 2017 Tesla Model S Lease. Leased the car from Tesla (showroom model with 2186 miles) in August 2017. Current Mileage is 7587. We need a bigger SUV.

Car MSRP: $109,700

3 year Lease expires: 08/28/2020 (28 months remaining)
Miles Allowed: 36,000 (30599 miles remaining)
Residual Value: $65,641
Disposition fee (at lease end, not included in Lease): $395.00
Monthly Payment including tax: $947.54

Asking: $2500 down + lease transfer fee (negotiable)

We are in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA.

Disclaimer: Car recently had right (passenger) side tires/rim/suspension replaced. Hit a deep pothole on the freeway and tires burst (common with Tesla). All work was done by Tesla approved body shop, paid by insurance, and lifetime warranty by Tesla approved body shop for all work performed.

Sorry, I am unable to edit original post since I am a new member here. The lease payment is very low because I got a heavy discount at leasing (due to showroom model).

Detailed car specs:
Model S 90D (dual motor)
Pearl White Paint
Body Color Roof (no glass/panaromic roof)
19" wheels
Black Tesla Premium Seats (Heated / Cooled seats with Perforated Leather - no longer available)
Dark Ash Wood decor
Black Headliner
Supercharger
Enhanced Autopilot (current gen)
72amp Charger upgrade
Smart Air Suspension
Premium Interior Package
Premium Sound

Hi @ggss,
What was the actual sale price in the lease agreement and what was the showroom discount on the car? Knowing these will help me decide whether it is a good lease transfer.
Thanks in advance.

It still shocks me to see how these cars depreciate like a rock. Less than 10k miles and it's already lost 20k. Holy cow.
@Brutaka , I don't think $20K is the depreciation as the buyout of $88K may most likely be the actual sale price plus lease fees, MSRP was $108. Depreciation now that it is a "used" car, will actually be more if one tried to get an actual used car value.

@ggss will the free supercharging be transferred to the new lessee?

This is what Tesla says on Supercharging:

“You have free, unlimited Supercharging for your current Tesla vehicle as well as any new Model S or Model X purchased before December 31, 2017. If you choose to sell your current Tesla, free Supercharging will transfer to the next owner. In addition, up to five friends you refer will also receive free Supercharging. Read our Supercharging terms.”
