2019 Model 3 - $14k repair estimate, what to do?

My 2019 Model 3 Standard Range Plus with 44,000 miles just got a repair estimate for $14,250. Another driver ran a red light and crashed into me.

I am in California. Car is probably worth $27,500. Should I settle for repairs that cost more than 50% of the vehicle? What about diminished value?

Unless your insurance works different than everyone elses, YOU dont get to decide whether the car gets fixed or not. The insurance company decides whether its totaled or not, based on repair costs. Since thats the case, I dont know what you are asking here.
