2020 Model S Performance regen brake

Traded my 2021 model y for this 2020 model s performance but the regen brake feels significantly weaker. Is it due to heat pump, heavier car or some defect?

What state of charge are you at? I know there’s a decreased regen, unless you set the car to use the brakes automatically to mimic regen, when the SOC is high.

I’m wondering if the weather is a big part of it. I drive my car when we had the cold snap this past weekend and my regen was completely gone. This was the notes from the tech at the sc it might relate to you as well, was your little bar that shows efficiency gray regardless of whether throttle was applied or not?
