Hot damn! That seemed pretty fast!

I've been trying to get about $74k for my Blue/White Model Y with ~7,000 miles. It has FSD and the acceleration boost in addition to full body paint protection film and tint. Retail for the car is ~$76,200 (not counting PPF or tint) and I sort of gave up after a bunch of low balls at like $58k...

Mainly I want to switch to a Performance too and decided while FSD is pretty dang amazing... I would rather have the Performance... kicking myself a little on the PPF cost ($7k) but if I could make the switch I've told myself I'll just eat that cost as a learning experience.

Unless you sell privately to a Tesla fan, I would forget about recouping the paint protection and boost. Also, the $10k people pay for FSD doesn’t equate to an additional $10k back when selling. My 2020 white with tow/white interior/boost was $52k new and just sold it to a new-car dealer for $62k who will probably get close to $65k based on current trends in the Bay Area. Believe it or not, the most desirable model Y config right now is White/White/19”wheels/Tow so I lucked out I guess. What’s really amazing is that I got more for my 2020 used than what the exact 2022 NEW costs. I couldn’t/can’t justify paying $10-12k on FSD. Auto park and Summon are pretty useless and since I don’t keep cars more than a couple years, the subscription works out better.
