I really love having a frunk. I find it the best for takeout/hot food as it doesn't smell inside the car. I really want to use it more but I find myself hesitating for two reasons.
1. It's a bitch to close and needs two hands (I have gotten better at it, but it still feels very weird and I feel I put a lot of pressure)
2. When I do close it, I leave palm prints on the car.
I have seen a few automatic frunks for sale or even for install locally, but they mentioned something changed in 2021 and you have to physically drill somewhere in the car, which I really do not want to do.
My question for you all is, do you have any hacks/products/anything you have found that makes using the frunk less of a PITA? I actually don't mind flipping it open, it's mostly the closing for me.
