2022 Model S Trunk Trim Coming Loose

Hi - is this a known thing? I noticed it yesterday - it seems adhesive or whatever is coming loose. Car has never been damaged nor in a car wash.
Already set up an appointment with the rangers.

The appliques and many other parts are affixed with 3M foam backed UHB tape.

It is pressure sensitive, you must apply to a clean surface, press for 60 seconds, and then not load it for 24 hrs.

Good news is, the tape can be had at the box stores like HD and Lowes, and you can fix this yourself.

If the applique is warped, apply pressure at the ends with thin bowed sticks against the wall or garage door overnight.

I noticed today same issue on test car at Tesla store in Napkes Florida. Sun hits trim that’s black soaks up sun and comes loose bows due to expansion. No clips seen behind trim, just cheap foam tape. This is going to be an issue

Mine was like that since the first day I picked it up! Must go to service center to fix bunch of small things but not very motivated biggest one the yoke was peeling

It’s a simple repair not a major issue. Mobile service will come out in most cases and fix in minutes.
