2023 Model Y Rear Caliper Bolt

I need to locate the rear caliper bolt. I heard a knocking from the rear about 3 months after my calipers where painted. I took it to the Tesla service center and they provided me an estimate. Well, one of the bolts came out and they don't stock bolts. I have to replace the entire caliper for $975. This is the worlds most expensive bolt. How the heck to they not keep spare bolts?

I really don't want to pay $1000 for a bolt. What's even more weird is the bolts were torqued back to spec with a torque wrench.

They claims that they don't even list the bolts and can't order them. They said they have to replace the entire caliper just to get a bolt.

I just called, it's actually the bolt you can see on figure 8 that goes through the rubber sleeve. The ones you remove to change the pads.

Yeah, I don't see a part number for those. So odd. Like you, I can't imagine you have to replace the entire caliper.

Could you source a used caliper from a junkyard?

They had the part # but said they only came with the entire assembly. I bit the bullet and paid $976 for one bolt. I’ll be balled up in the corner for awhile.
