Hi All,

After an incident on collection day (I wont go into it) I was forced to replace a tyre. I could not for the life of me find a Like for Like tyre to fit the new 19" Nova Alloys. From Shanghai these come on Hankook iON Evo 235/40/R19 96W which proved impossible to find.

In the end I settled for a Ventus S1 Evo 3 as the specs were all the same, but as it is not the same tyre I enquired with Hankook UK as to availability of the iON Evo in this spec. Got a really informative email back stating that the iON Evo in Tesla spec is basically a rebranded Ventus S1 Evo3.

Just thought I would share just in case anyone else ever needs to replace the tyres on a 19" Nova Alloy and struggles to find the correct iON Evo.

Cheers

Oh man I'm so confused but I think you've clarified it...
So all your tyres are actually Ventus, which aren't Ions, but got an ION label. What a mess.
Tesla also told me they were fitting new M3s with the Michelin Pilot Sports. Guess not all of them.
Someone send me 4 IONs from America plz 😆
