20x9 what offset for flush?

For stock 8.5 width +40 offset wheels with 235 or 245 size tires I've seen need at least 15-20mm spacers to be flush so your custom offset should be at least +25 to +20. Maybe +20 if you're also lowering but +25 or possibly less offset if you're running wider wheels.

If you add 1/2" width (12.7mm) to the wheel plus add 10mm offset (ie, +30), the total amount the wheel would extend outwards would be 10mm + 6.35mm = 16.35mm. changing to a 245 tire (10mm wider) would add another 5mm protrusion (5mm on each side of tire). This would be equivalent to oem wheel/tire with a 21.35mm spacer.

Thanks everyone! I'm pretty new to the wheel game so I appreciate the help.

I have oem 19s now and put 15mm spacers up front and 20 out back. I'm also on tsportline springs.

Ideally, I'd like to get rid of the spacers to take advantage of America's tires free rotations (they won't work on the car with spacers installed).

So +20 all around should be flush up front but a little tucked in the back?
