Installed Pirelli Pzero 295/30R21 tires on the original equipment 21" rear Uberturbines.

Fit is great.

Thanks for posting this—I am strongly considering doing something similar (295 width) however I was planning on staying with the original aspect ratio of 35 — would you mind sharing your thoughts on this? Why did you decide to go down to 30? A quick analysis shows that overall tire diameter is down from 28.5” to 28” and sidewall depth is down from 3.8” to 3.5”. My motivation for going to 295/35r21 is to increase sidewall depth to improve ride/road imperfection resistance while also getting rid of the stretched look of which I’m not a fan. Staying with the 35 ratio would result in a tire that is 1/2” larger in diameter (instead of smaller) and would increase sidewall depth to 4.1” — to my eye, it appears that this would work but I’d love to hear your thoughts. Thanks again for the post. Stay well.

Also—do you have any more photos that you could post? I’m most interested to see the effect of the 295 width and how it impacts (reduces) the stretched appearance of the OEM 275 rubber. Thank you!

I went with the 30 series to keep the overall rear diameter similar to stock fronts. This wheel/tire combo actually now has the same diameter as the OE front 255/35R21 setup, and there looks to be a bit more rim protection. (295s on top and left of the two comparison shots of new and old setup).

It almost looks like it could go even wider. Btw, what's the circumference like, does it come out similar to the 35 aspect ratio?
I was *so* close to installing 305/30R21 tires to get the widest tire possible on the OE rear Uberturbines. The 305/30 tires would have still had a smaller diameter (slightly) than 275/35R21 tires...and sightly larger diameter than OE 255/35R21 fronts.
