After 2 years I get 298. I'd say that pretty good too. This is to be expected. Would be great if it went the other way like when an engine breaks in and performs better? All batteries fad over time. Sad but true.
My M3P (Production Number 55,180), is at 294 miles at 100% currently. I have just shy of 40k miles on the car. I do know from experience that if I take it on a road trip and have several days of exercising the battery (run it down to ~20% and then charge it back up to 100% for a day of driving), that it will edge back up to about 305 miles. I don't consider this a major concern.
If you are worried about that little difference, you should just get rid of the car now. Its going to go way down over time. Just change it to show % and dont worry about it. Or sell it to me for $25,000
