I used to be able to use my Apple watch with Remote App to turn on Climate control. Now, it is possible only with the official Tesla App.
Is there a way to keep the car from falling into a deep sleep?

Sometimes after a software update, you have to re-establish your credentials or something or other.

I had the same issue. Open the app on your iphone and log out. Log back in and reauthenticate through Tesla, then it will resume working.
