The Tesla chart MPH above for 5-15 and 5-20 should just be 1/2 of the 6-15 and 6-20 MPH as they are the same amps but 120 vs 240 volts. However, I surmise Tesla is purposely undershooting the 5-15 and 5-20 MPH. Everyone has 5-15 outlets in their house and many have 5-20 outlets in their garage already but the question is how quality are those outlets and would they be able to pull the constant 12 and 15 amps continuously. For 6-15 and 6-20 outlets, no one really would have those already and it would be a dedicated install (in theory) and thus able to pull the max MPH. From my actual experience, 5-15 is 5 MPH and 5-20 is 8 MPH. Taking into account rounding, 11 and 15 MPH for 6-15 and 6-20 makes sense.

Agree that the table data for 5-20 is too low, should be ~7 miles per hour of charging.

For the 5-15 plug, in my experience, ~3 miles of range per hour of charging at 8A and ~4 miles of range at 12A. I suppose you could claim 5 miles if rounding up, way up.

My experience with 6-20 charging (240V and 16A) for my LRMY was 12 to 13 miles per hour of charging.

My experience with using the 14-50 receptacle with my current charging setup (240V and 32A) and my LRMY is 25 to 26 miles of range per hour, not up to 29 miles as shown in the table.

I realized I am in the MY forum but I was speaking about my M3 as reference as far as MPH. Of course if it is 4.5 MPH or 7.5 MPH Tesla rounds up as there is no decimal places on the app or screen.

5-15 will pull 12 amps continuously and 5-20 will pull 16 amps continuously, unless your outlets/wiring are not good. Any amps less than that is not "maximum MPH" as the Tesla chart is purporting to state.
