6 Full Transporters On AZ I-40 9/8/19 In Just Over 1 Hour

Driving west on I-40 from Holbrook towards Flagstaff, we saw 6 transporters full of new Teslas in just over one hour — looks like another end of quarter push is under way! Hope this helps folks figure out production.

Believe it or not that not an end of quarter push, it’s a regular thing.
According to some truck driver friends of mine, that type of sighting is pretty common

Each transporter can only move 8 Teslas due to weight limitations so these 6 carriers were moving 48 cars. If they had loaded in an hour, for an hour’s production, that’d be 1152 cars per day or 8,064 cars per week. That’d be great if true, but it would be even better if they figure out ways to use more economical and environmentally friendly rail transport.
