7 Seat Interior Protection

As many of you with the 7 seater probably know, there is a section of carpet on the rear door sill that is a prime area for the kids to step on when they get in the car. I'm worried that this section will eventually wear out, so I'm curious if anyone has found a solution for protecting it? All of the sill protector kits seem to be for the 5 seater, where that section is plastic instead of carpet. Thanks in advance!

Yep, I actually bought those and they don’t attach since there is carpet where plastic normally is

There is an Amazon review for the above that says it does not fit a 7 seater.

Agreed I wish there’s a solution, it’s usually the dirtiest part on my car…

Same here. Have been looking everywhere for it since my kids always left footprint on the carpet while climbing up the car seat. Tried leather protector, but it didn't fit for 7 seater.

Here is the pic of leather protector I tried. It didn't fit at all, but I will temporarily use it until I can find something that fits.

i actually ended up buying these. they look/feel great, but did not fit the 7 seater. On the 7 seater, theres actually an extra bump. its flat on the 5 seater.

Still no luck on this front... I tried these from RPM, but there needs to be velcro or something where the tape is:

Yeah they added that tidbit after bought them and contacted them to let them know they didn't fit

Looking a bit closer at mine, and it looks like the “carpeted hump” might just pop out? I don’t want to test out that theory but can anyone confirm? If so, then it might be easy enough just to swap these out when they get worn?
