A way to mark current position?

How do I mark a current position into the address book if the location does not have an address?

For example a camping spot at the end of an unnamed dirt road.

I think if you press and hold on the map, a pin eventually pops up, even if it's "off the grid". And you have to navigate to it for the location to be saved - so do a quick navigate to and then cancel. I'm not 100% sure this will work in all locations. You might need to set it as a favorite or something. I did manage to get it to work with my new apartment - the address listed is the front gate, my apartment is in the back, and there are no apartments listed, but I pressed and held the spot on the map, and got the pin, and was able to set it as my home location.
