AC dashboard broken

Hello

Today I noticed crack and scratches on the dashboard trim on the passenger side. Crack goes deep until the AC vent. Any suggestions to fix ?

How old is your car? That looks like a manufacturing defect, unless someone can prove you used a cleaning chemical that the plastic is reacting to.

It’s 2 year old, 2021 Model Y. I did not use any chemicals to clean. Is it a plastic, can replace?

In the heat of Las Vegas, Tesla could say it's "normal wear and tear," which I don't agree with.

Make an appointment, with a photo, with your Service Center. That part is integral to the dash, so I don't believe it could be repaired/replaced by Mobile Service.

It’s in one piece with the wood trim and can be removed/replaced. Doesn’t hurt to message service and see if they will cover it under warranty. If not then you can just buy one on eBay (or a new one from Tesla).

Thank you. It was covered under warranty and Tesla mobile service guy replaced it.
