Carbon Fiber Dash Cap Removal

Hi,

I am thinking of covering the wood dashboard and door trims with some of those carbon fiber trims with the double sided 3M tape, however I don't want to damage the trim underneath should I decide to take it off at some point.

Anyone any experience with these and their removal and if they damage the trim underneath?

Why not buy the replacement piece, remove your wood part and install the CF one?
