Texas
California has an official adhesive license plate, but I see there's something available for Texas, even though it's not what you'd call official

I'm not sure I'd actually get one, but if you're worried about it being a two plate state (albeit a rule recognised more in the breach than in the observance) and you don't like the available options for the "real" plate ... this could always be an alternative

I don't like adhesive mounts because they leave residue when removed. I use a SnapPlate because it is removable and mounts in like 5 seconds. It is 3D printed and has a mechanical latch to attach it to your front grill. It's a bit pricey though, around $110. I leave it on all the time because I don't mind how it looks, but I like the fact I can quickly remove it if I'm getting work done on the car, or if I ever sell it.
