or quietly put the caps back on, wait for them to get bad enough for a warranty claim and try to retain these ones to clean up and use as winter wheels ;)
I know you were joking but to be clear the rust is not actually coming from the wheels. it's not uncommon for the hubs on cars to rust because they are made of steel and the brakes are cast iron all of which rust. it's a little unusually for it to happen this quickly but that's what happens when you buy a car designed in a desert, built in a desert for people who live in a desert.
