just measured the centercap on my S (believe they're the same) and its 2 1/4 " diameter

I heard that Aero Caps prevent rim rash...not that I hit curves (I drive in Irvine...no parallel parking)...but still!

Nope, they won't. Sadly rim protects the aero cover... ask me how I Know..

Well.... I went to the local Tesla Service Center and asked them to procure me a set of Metal Wheel Caps and Chrome Wheel Lug Caps as found in the picture for Model X Brake Calipers:
