They say sometimes it takes more than one try to get things right. Back in March I posted an ad here about the arrival of my new Tesla Model X and my need to find a good home from my beloved Model S. I got a lot of responses and a friend of a friend really wanted the car and asked me to hold it for him until he could arrange his finances to take delivery. I patiently waited and declined other offers but it now looks like that deal won’t happen. So… I am once again posting an ad to see if anyone who was originally interested would love a great car or if someone who might now be in the market for a car would like a great condition Model S.
It’s a 2012 Signature P85 Model S with 32,200 miles. In addition to the stunning exterior color, I also chose the limited white interior. That combination was only produced on about 250 cars.
The car has been kept in perfect condition and garage parked for its 3.5 year life. In addition to being a fully loaded version of the Model S, I have added several desirable after-market options including a Passport Radar/Laser detection system, the MobilEye pre-collision system, front and rear parking sensors, a blind spot monitor system, custom logo floor mats and a custom center console. The car also has an 8 year 100K mile extended warranty ($4000 value) and one additional pre-paid service ($600 value) that will be transferred to the new owner.
Suggested Kelly Blue Book private party sale for this car is about $69K. Since the car has now been sitting in the garage for two months waiting for a new owner, I am willing to let it go for $58K instead of just giving it to Tesla for their pre-owned program.
