Update - As mentioned below, the car has been officially sold.
2013 Tesla Model S P85, Multicoat Red
VIN: 5YJSA1CP1DFP11606
Mileage – Est. 145,000 mi (see below)
I’m the second owner, purchasing the vehicle in February 2017 at around 67000 mi.
Asking price - $10,000 or best offer. I assume with a working HV battery and other parts should be worth this much but if I’m way off the mark, let me know.
I’m attaching a copy of the Moroney sticker. Some changes from the Moroney sticker are that the rear facing jump seats were installed after its initial build and the car is currently riding on 19” base rims vs the 21” Turbine rims that the car originally came with. I also added rear cup holders and changed out the passenger side visor for a newer version.
I’m including any pictures I had of the car including a screenshot from the Tesla app. I'll add more as I find them. Since the car has been offline for so long, it’s not showing the mileage so the above is an estimate. The car also will not include the Mobile Connector or any charging adapters.
The car is not operable and being sold as is. The car is paid off and I have in my hand a clear Texas title that is ready to be signed over. The car has an issue with the High Voltage Interlock Loop (HVIL) and the LDU needs to be replaced due a coolant leak. The HVIL is a rare and very labor-intensive fix. The cost of addressing it and replacing the LDU is more than the car is currently worth on the market, so I’ve decided to sell it as-is and cut my losses.
The car is currently as 057 Tech so it will need to be transported from there once sold. Unfortunately, I have not seen the vehicle in over 6 months so I cannot comment on its current condition. When I had shipped it off, the body and interior were in excellent condition for the age and mileage and I’m including the last pictures I had taken. I had really hoped to keep this car running for a few more years and was doing my best to take care of it accordingly.
One day back in early October of 2022, the car slowed to a halt on my way back from work with BMS errors. (I’ve attached a picture I took of the errors that initially popped up.) I had the car towed home and shortly after transported to 057 Tech for a diagnosis and because I had also purchased an extended HV battery warranty with them. It took around 6 months to finally get a proper diagnosis on the vehicle and it turns out that it was an issue with the High Voltage Interlock Loop (HVIL). Surprisingly, they told me the HV Battery Pack was just fine. 057 Tech is also trying to see if they can help me find a buyer or some other alternative in selling the car. Anyone interested can inquire with 057 Tech directly and they may be able to provide pictures and be able to confirm its current condition.
If you have any questions, I can answer them below and feel free to PM me if you want to talk over the phone. Thanks!
