Any way to adjust ride quality with Air Suspension? (2016 MS AP2)

I have recently taken my car to service and got a 2018 loaner. The car felt to me significantly softer, more compliant on rough roads
Both cars have Air suspension, 19" Goodyears, my tires at about 42-43 PSI.
Has anyone found a way to adjust ride quality, not just height?
I guess dampening would need to be changed?
Thanks

You might poke your head into the wheel wells of the loaner to see if the part number on the air strut is different than what is on your car. Pro tip: raise the suspension for better visibility, and, for the front wheels turn left/right - stick your cell phone camera in there to snap a pic until you get a clear shot.

The online catalog appears to show they may be up to version C in the front: 1030608-00-C (note: there are some other versions out there too, but I think they are for the performance plus, and/or RWD versions. Rear appears to be at version C too (aqain, different for different version of car).
