Anybody having trouble with their power trunk on 2021 M3 after 2024.2.3?

After the latest update I'm having trouble with my trunk opening. It will release but not open, then maybe will close, maybe not. And when it does fully open it goes up much faster than it used to, and slams closed when it does. It does this whether using the manual buttons or from the console or app.

Anybody else with a problem?

No problem here. Sounds like the gas strut may be going bad?

power strut is failing. Common issue and is covered by warranty.

Hmmm. It just seems so sudden. I'll put a service request in.

I put a service request in today, and of course it started working fine again. I doubt it was the weather because it has been unremarkable for NYC. I haven't even moved the car. I'm debating now whether to cancel.

I cancelled the first service request and then of course it stopped working altogether. Service came to my house today and installed a new strut in about 10 minutes. All works well again.
