Anyone experienced system crash after Steam re-launch?

When first launch steam, it works fine.
Shut down steam, exit to car system, relaunch steam—-> system crash (reboot to restore)

Talked to SC and their response is—> this is beta, wait for update.
I am very curious: do other users have same experience? Or only me?

Tesla engineer suggest to factory reset steam. Did you try that?

The only fix I’ve tried that works is a soft reset to the cars computer (holding down both scroll wheels on steering wheel for ~10s)

Yes. Game keeps download when I leave and lock the car. Car sleeps after download finished

wow to this day the second I close the door steam closes regardless of downloads or anything.

I tried uninstalling steam and doing the factory reset. Neither worked. After starting it up the first time and closing it out, it won’t open back up. Just sits on the screen with Ty he blue circle and half what circle logo screen

How about this, unplug the SSD and try again to see if system crash after relaunch steam

Different issue than us but still steam related…have you seen this thread? Few others with our SSD having issues also:

Service center reached out to me today to gather more info. Will see where it goes.

Just had a mobile service tech check things out and they think the issue is gpu related. Waiting to see what next steps are but he said they’ll likely replace the car computer.

Same problem on my model s
Did the exact same thing and contacted service and they told me it will be fixed in a future update

Been awhile since I followed up, but ended up taking my car into my local service center. After checking it out, they said they repeated the issue and there isn’t much info out there on it.

They told me it should be fixed within the next two firmware updates though and of it isn’t, they’ll swap out the car computer. Some that time there’s been one update.
