My 2018 75D on AP crowds the centerline when turning left but stays in the middle when turning right. Can that be adjusted at the service center or is it a quirk in the software?
It doesn't seem to be anything that can be adjusted. It's just how the software is programmed to handle curves. At least that's what I was led to understand.
You'll find that different speed curves will yield different results. IME, the faster the (left) curve, the further away from the left lane marker... slower curves (<35MPH) tend to hug the centerline - and occasionally will actually ride the center lane marker! A little unnerving!
You get used to it, and learn when to take over. Another reason I don't just let AP do it's thing! Always be at the ready.
