Are we like the red-headed step kids with regards to getting software updates?

My download completed over a week ago. I thought it downloaded and installed correctly but I recently purchased FSD upgrade and the install has not come through for the FSD. When I called Tesla's central line, they said it looks like I had a failed update to 2021.40 (although it appears I have updated fine), which may be the reason FSD was not pushed to my car. After contacting Vancouver service, they said I have to bring the car in. Very annoying

Thanks for the info. The update on my car eventually stopped spinning - not sure what stopped it though.

My mobile tech explained that Tesla will pull an update off the server, when they deem it to be buggy.
