1. Fully FSD beta is not available. I'm just talking about the regular FSD software. 2. Subscription isn't available in Canada yet. I'm going to keep the car for more than 5 years so I don't mind paying for it. Also it will add value when I sell the car eventually

I bit the bullet and purchased the FSD upgrade for my MSLR. I figured it will likely go up in Canada eventually since it's $10000 USD. Paid fully on my AMEX. This is a much better way than to buy FSD with the car. You pay more taxes and can't pay with credit card. Anyone else who's done this...

The handles never present now. I always have to touch it to have it come out. Anyone else with this issue with the phone key?

I remember when I first setup the phone key (android) the handles presented themselves only if the phone is powered on. But since getting the car back from service the handles doesn't present anymore. The handles do present with key fob though. What is the normal behavior?

It is possible. If you find a buyer you both might have to go in person and you buyer signs all the paperwork. I don't see why it can't be done. You should contact your SA to find out.

Ughhh. This exact issue just happened to my new Model S LR that's 3 weeks old. I think the people who wrapped my car did this as I never used the frunk before. I'm glad that they can fix this though.

The horn can be activated also by pressing your whole palm on the right side. You may activate your windshield wipers at the same time but the horn will sound.

Gaps are still a problem. I had Tesla adjust the trunk and frunk gaps so they are now more or less even on both sides but my front and rear door gaps are larger compared to some other new MS on the lot. I'm considering in painting the the rear TESLA letters to chrome so it can actually be read and matches the chrome T logo. What do you guys think? Mine Model S is MSM.

Not worth it. You have to replace it every couple of years as it will get scratched. It will cost you each time. Cheaper to replace the windshield of it gets damaged under insurance

I did get a Model S 75D as a loaner. Not as fun to drive as the new Model S. I actually miss the yoke!

Found a major issue. Paint doesn't match between rear right passenger door and rear quarter panel. The rest of the quarter panel marches. Just this one spot. WTF. Pretty disappointing.

They corrected the invoice after I asked about it. So now the trade in value is subtracted from MSRP before tax. Getting my new Tesla in a few hours! Hope I don't have any issues with the car.

I'm trading in a 1998 Porsche Boxster that needs some repair. I think it will be difficult to sell on the private market as is (is still drivable though) and I'm too lazy to get all the repairs done to sell it. So I felt $9000 isn't too bad for a easy trade in. With tax credit, that's $10350

I am planning to trade in an old car to Tesla but they are subtracting the trade in value AFTER the new car is taxed rather than before so I get no tax savings on the trade in. Is it recommended to have lights and bumper, etc be removed so that PPF wraps around panel edges? Is there any risk of doing damage?
