Rivian is the latest to announce they’re switching to NACS (Tesla’s charging standard), joining Ford and GM. Most charging networks have also announced they’re going to be installing NACS hardware moving forward. Time for BC Hydro to do the same.

It's a bit more nuanced than that. I'm happy that the DCFC network is expanding regardless of plug type.

It's unclear if a non Tesla DCFC will charge an older Tesla even if the DCFC uses an NACS plug.

The NACS is just a Tesla plug but running the CCS protocol. it makes no difference if you use a native plug or the adapter, but you still need the charge port retrofit.

yah. They are also going to install DCFC along Hiway 37 and 97 up north to the Yukon border. Yukon have lots of DCFC location on it's territories, unfortunately only one charger per location..
