Got the Curt made one via Amazon US & it didn’t fit
What was supposed to take 3 hours for an amateur (according to their fitting instructions) ended up taking several days - had to elongate the fixing holes using a drill press & special drill bit as well as having to use an angle grinder to cut/grind large chunks out of the tow bar fixing plate as it was stopping getting the plastic bumper back on.
Not fun.
After sending photos, Curt agreed that it wasn’t correct & that Tesla had made manufacturing changes - my guess is the design changes occurred when the car was approved for towing in Europe.
No, I’m not using the M3 for towing - it’s to mount a support bar
Anyway, be warned & get the supplier/manufacture to check it definitely fits the 2020 M3, before buying
