Best Rate Guarantee and Refinancing

There was an inventory 3 in my preferred config and I had to accept next day delivery in order to lock it in. My credit union won't be able to finalize a loan in a day so Tesla recommended I go through their financing program and utilize their Best Rate Guarantee program. My credit union already pre-approved me for 1.99% financing at 59 months. I plan to refinance through my credit union once I have the registration and all. Is there any point in submitting a request for a Rate Match refund? If I get that Rate Match refund check, can I still refinance with my credit union? Or does that check go directly back to Tesla once I refinance? I'm a little confused on this.

The credit union approved for both. The rates are the same. I have an existing loan with them. I’m just unsure if there’s any point in utilizing their best rate guarantee and getting that check for the interest rate difference.
