In all seriousness, it is about 25 cents a kWh in NYC. I live in Nassau County and it is high there, at about 19 cents. I know there is a program where you can get a 5 cent rebate if you agree not to charge during peak times. I would check their website. Even with that, the price is still really high and the voltage in NYC is relatively low. I get around 210 but I have heard there are parts of the Bronx that cap out between 180 and 190.

Is going solar not an option? In NJ we have the SREC program but not sure if NY has it.
