Best winter tires for 21' Sonic Carbon Twin Turbine Wheels? Model S 100D 2018

Buy 19's. Seriously. I have the Arachnid 21's and I'm in the process of getting winter tires on 19" wheels this week. Pirelli Winter Zero FR is what I'm going with.

The tire sizes will be different on the front compared to the back. Usually 245 on the front and 265 on the back

Check your door panel if these are the wheels that originally came with the car.

If they are staggered, your option for winter tires are zero. Nobody makes winter tires for the wider rears in a staggered setup.

You're in Edmonton so I assume you have your fair share of potholes in spring... plus you may slide into a curb and damage those nice wheels. Long story short the 19" wheel will give you more tire choices, a smoother ride for rough icy roads and may even result in less ice/snow buildup on the wheel that could potentially give an out of balance condition. Plus it's not good for tires to be mounted & unmounted every year, it's better to just swap wheels with winter tires on them already.

Big ones. Mine are 1/12 that size.

My twin turbines came staggered (100D). Like what others have said, riding 21" during winter especially in the Prairies is a risky proposition.
