While driving I got the scary alert that the car may not start again. Parked it by a charger, it would not charge and would not start again. 12v battery was showing low so I was hoping it was just that. Anyways, swapped the 12v, new battery didn't last a full day parked, no improvement. Nearest service center is 250 miles away. I'll have to tow it there and I'm hoping to get your guess on if it's hvb. I have 350 miles left on my battery warranty.
I'm not sure what an isolation alert would mean. In service mode I forced the hvil lock on for a minute and the only odd thing was HVIL was 3.8 when it was expecting 3.6.
I'm concerned it may not be a battery problem if it still has a charge. The battery went from 8% to 9% due to warmer temps. But is the car actually measuring the battery or just going on the last known charge level, or does it have nothing to do with whatever battery issue there might be?
