Cameras Covering Up Media Controls?

I just picked up my S over the weekend and I'm loving it, but I'm really missing the ability to have my cameras up AND see what song is playing at the same time.

Am I crazy? What am I missing? My 3 had this ability! Not my picture, but you can see the media controls at the bottom and the backup/side cameras would occupy the right side of the screen.

And then in my S, it just gets hidden behind the cameras:

You can drag the media controls to the other side.

I'd have to go test it, but I never keep my cameras up
