Can I replace my rear 285/40s with 275/40s?

Flat tire in Jonesboro, Louisiana! Found a place in Ruston that has two 275/40 tires, I am wondering if that will cause any issues.

From my four wheeling days I recall that all four must match, but the plate on the door jamb says the fronts are 255/45 so perhaps I am just an old fogey.

Also, Tesla roadside assistance in the middle of nowhere on a Sunday morning is shall we say less than stellar. Think I will buy a jack and carry a spare next time. Stinks that I may need two spares or have only a 50% chance of having a spare! 2022 Model S LR

Staggered setups on cars are common.

Okay, I did it. Range dropped significantly, but that might be because I was going 125mph on I-49. Also I have never heard of this tire brand.

Ah. Glad you got back on the road. Thought you had 21 inch tires. But 19s are similar.
