Can you splice broken Tesla Park Sensor?

My front bumper park sensor snapped off. Specifically sensor S5 towards the front right side.

Is it possible to splice added wiring to extend the sensor to be long enough to fit easier into the front sensor bracket ?

What would be the recommended type of electrical wiring (copper/aluminum) ? And what gauge ?
