Can't access car using key fob or app

I have a 2017 MS P100D and I have gotten temporarily locked out of my car twice in one week. Both times, I had just driven the car and parked in front of my house or in my garage. And both times, I tried to get back into my car to get something inside the car and I was locked out. Neither the key fob(s) or the app was able to unlock any of the doors. The app was not able to connect to the car. It seems like the car was asleep and would not wake up.

The issue seemed to resolve itself within an hour or two, coincidentally after I had booked a service appointment using the app. Has anyone had this issue?

That happens to me often. The FOB usually is good for opening the trunk. I do that and then the car wakes up and unlocks. It's also locked me out of my car at a car wash because I left my FOB and Phone close together inside. I'm not sure why Teslas are the only car that does that, it's pretty lame.
