Car broke again. Rear hatch not latching

Here we go again. The model is broken again. This time is actually a drivability issue as the hatch won’t latch, resulting in the car not locking and messages flashing like max. Tesla roadside refused to tow it in and they want me to call in vehicle support in the morning. Anyone have an idea of how to recalibrate the hatch? I just don’t want the entire thing to break on me over a bump

This is unbelievable. Apparently unplugging the dash cam hd made it work

I had a very similar issue yesterday on my P100D I am still trying to resolve. I tried unplugging the USB storage, but that didn't work. Or did I misunderstand what you meant by unplugging the dashcam hd? Did you have to do something else?

Did you notice things stop working after software updates? Does anyone else have that issue? Maybe it has nothing to do with it, but this will be the third time the next day after a software update that something stops working the very next day after an update.
