Car goes into “parking” mode in traffic?

I just started noticing that my car keeps going into what I will call “parking mode” when I am in traffic. It changes the visualization view to the overhead view and starts beeping and showing the distances to things around me. Anybody know what triggers this? I can be 10 feet behind a car at a light and it goes into that mode as if it thinks I’m parking.

It goes into that mode any time you are driving slowly enough that you _could_ be parking for more than a few seconds.
